FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE 30 June 2010 The Burma Refugee Organization (BRO) based in Malaysia, has just published Protecting Refugees and Their Rights by Alinsek, a Burmese human rights and social activist on 30 June 2010, as first ever handbook for refugees in Burmese language.

Around 40 people attended our Burma VJ screening and discussion with Ashin Kovida and Ashin Sopaka on Friday in Berlin. People were very moved and it arouse a very interesting discussion about the situation in Burma afterwards. The evening was rounded off with delicious Burmese food.
Ashin Sopaka visited the JFK Friendship center Hort today to give the children and teacher a update on the Relocation Project and thank all for their effort to support the project.
