The Best Friend Library in Mae Sot offers regular free English and computer classes for everyone who is interested.
Our Relocation Center for the people on the Rubbish Dump of Mae Sot is running well so far. Around 15 people, most of them children, are going to school and living in one of our two, newly built houses. Adults are trained in sewing, free computer classes are offered for all.

Not only have we welcomed a large number of new members in the past few months, we have also greatly expanded our collection of materials, and are busy coordinating some interesting events for the coming weeks.
Fifteen people have now moved away from the rubbish dump in Mae Sot to our new Relocation Center. Of these, 10 are children and 5 are adults. The women are attending sewing classes and have already started to produce our new “Peace In Burma Now” t-shirts!
