Peace Campaign & Saffron Revolution Ashin Sopaka at the Discussion after the Burma VJ Screening in Berlin on June 25th 2010



Our Relocation Center for the people on the Rubbish Dump of Mae Sot is running well so far. Around 15 people, most of them children, are going to school and living in one of our two, newly built houses. Adults are trained in sewing, free computer classes are offered for all.



Irrawaddy: Authorities today arrest Buddhist monk Tilawka in Myawaddy after returning from Thailand. Our thougths are now all with the arrested monk. Wanting peace is not a crime! We should spread the message PEACE IN BURMA NOW even more after this, because we can and we will not be silenced. More about our Peace Campaign [...]

Interview with Garrett Kostin Part I Garrett Kostin, who runs our The Best Friend Library in Chiang Mai, has traveled to Burma recently and was deported by the Burmese Military Government on May 3rd for spreading ‘Peace In Burma Now’ stickers inside the country.
