On April 30th The Best Friend Library in Mae Sot offered a teaching class on Buddhist ethics for children. In addition to learning about the Buddha’s teaching and Buddhist behavior the kids learned basic meditation practice and received a certificate for attending.

Ashin Isssariya, aka King Zero, aka Minthunya was born in 1975 in Kungyangon Township, Yangon Division. This is his story. Told at the end of February 2010 in Mae Sot, Thailand.

Since January 2010 The Best Friend is operating a mobile Health Care Program in the district around Mae Sot. At least one time a month we rent a car, invite a volunteer doctor from the Mae Tao clinic and visit the small villages in the region.

On January 4th hundreds of kids attended the Peace Sport Festifal at Hope school. The event was coordinated and organized by The Best Friend founders King Zero and Ashin Sopaka.
